Manufacturing
The production process of the tiles consists of several stages
1. The preparation of the pattern - using Grasshopper software we created computerized patterns produced by code.
2. In a designated mold, we put kinetic sand (sand mixed with resin and talc) intended for castings and tightened it

3. Unlike normal sand molds, in our molds we realized that it is not necessary to tighten too much, just a little. If it is tightened from the hands the sand cracks and rises when our head is pressed in the sand

3. Sending the pattern for preparation - we sent the G code to a CNC machine which created the pattern in a dedicated sand mold that we built for the process.

4. Filling the mold - after making the pattern on top of the sand, we poured gypsum/molten aluminum into the mold and let it dry/cool.
We made the plaster more liquid so it wouldn't damage the sand pattern

4. Extracting the tile - at the end of the process, we extracted the tile from the sand mold and cleaned it.
